Merry Christmas from the homeland to the world! 🎄Thanks to Assyrian Youth Federation of America and Canton Foot and Ankle, Santa and his team delivered 202 gifts across two locations in the town of Karamles, spreading joy and holiday cheer to so many little hearts. 🎁🎅🏽

Shlama from Al-Takhi Kindergarten in Baghdeda as we kick off our Christmas festivities! Thanks to our partners at SOS1915, Baba Noel delivered 65 gifts to little ones. This marks our 12th consecutive year spreading Christmas joy to children across Iraq. We are always grateful to our partners and individual donors for making these smiles possible!

We’re celebrating the completion of Athra’s bakery extension in Batnaya! With the support of our friends at the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, Athra was able to expand her business by adding new baking tools, a wider variety of products, drinks, and a welcoming seating area for the community to enjoy. Balancing her studies at Mosul University, motherhood, caring for her family home, and running her bakery is no simple task, especially in a town that was once 85% destroyed by

Shlama from the beautiful skies of Nahla! A family of 4 depends on a small goat business they have. However, without a proper shed, they lost their goats earlier in the year due to a wolf attack at night. We built a proper goat shed, provided maize and 20 additional goats thanks to the support of the Assyrian Foundation of America. This project will strengthen their livelihood, and help them continue live in their homeland.

Shlama from Duhok city, where we’re bringing a traditional clothing business back to life! Thanks to our friends at the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, we were able to help Shamiram, a talented tailor who had to close her shop due to rising rent costs. To support her return to work, we built a caravan room at her home, fully furnished and ready for her to continue her craft.
