297 - 1,610 meters of Irrigation Canal Construction (Phase 2)
Shlama from the gorgeous village of Armash where we've completed our second phase of building irrigation canals! With funding from L'Œuvre d'Orient, we were able to build 1,610 meters. Farming is one of the very few ways families generate income in this remote village. 296 - Expanding a Woman's Bakery Business in Batnaya
We’re celebrating the completion of Athra’s bakery extension in Batnaya! With the support of our friends at the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, Athra was able to expand her business by adding new baking tools, a wider variety of products, drinks, and a welcoming seating area for the community to enjoy. 293 - Strengthening a Family Goat Business in Nahla
Shlama from the beautiful skies of Nahla! A family of 4 depends on a small goat business they have. However, without a proper shed, they lost their goats earlier in the year due to a wolf attack at night. We built a proper goat shed, provided maize and 20 additional goats thanks to the support of the Assyrian Foundation of America. This project will strengthen their livelihood, and help them continue live in their homeland.

295 - Reviving a Woman-Owned Traditional Clothing Shop in Duhok
Shlama from Duhok city, where we’re bringing a traditional clothing business back to life! Thanks to our friends at the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, we were able to help Shamiram, a talented tailor who had to close her shop due to rising rent costs.
