305 - Solar energy and heating/cooling units for Mar Efram and Ashurbanipal schools
Shlama from Baghdeda, where our team at Shlama Green Energy installed a 40-kilowatt solar energy system that will provide reliable electricity and power proper heating and cooling in classrooms for the first time in over 2 decades. In partnership with Stand With Iraqi Christians, this $35,000 investment also included 13 heating/cooling units, which will help create a better learning environment for the 365 students attending Ashurbanipal Primary and Mar Afram Secondary Syria

302 - Establishing a Woman-Owned Spa in Shuqa Ateeta'd Alqosh
Shlama from Alqosh, where we’re proud to support a young female entrepreneur in launching her own business. With funding from the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, we helped bring a new makeup and nail spa to life in Shuqa Ateeqa. Between 2024 and 2025, the Shlama Foundation invested more than $43,000 into the restoration of this historic district. 301 - Building a Youth Center for The Shaqlabad Organization — Phase 1
Six months of hard work, summarized in four minutes. We are proud to share that the rehabilitation of the Youth Center in Shaqlawa is officially complete, transforming an aging house into a dedicated space for the Shaqlabad Orgnization For Youth Developement. 299 - Printing of Syriac Children's book by author Athra Kado
We are honored to support Syriac teacher Athra Kado with the printing of his first children’s book! Thanks to our friends at RinyoToons we printed 1,000 copies of Volume 1, which have now been distributed to four kindergartens. This week, we also visited a second kindergarten in Alqosh to deliver additional copies.

298 - Revitalizing a building and empowering eight small businesses to start (Phase 1)
We’ve officially removed a major war scar in Batnaya. For the past six months, we’ve been rehabilitating eight storefronts that sat destroyed for more than 11 years, all made possible by the generosity of our French partners at L’Œuvre d’Orient and Région Auvergne Rhône Alpes. A special thank you to the landlord, who has agreed to a 70-month no-rent agreement, an extraordinary act of generosity. Thank you from the homeland!

297 - 1,610 meters of Irrigation Canal Construction (Phase 2)
Shlama from the gorgeous village of Armash where we've completed our second phase of building irrigation canals! With funding from L'Œuvre d'Orient, we were able to build 1,610 meters. Farming is one of the very few ways families generate income in this remote village. With this support, we'll not only help with their livelihoods, but this will also help prevent land encroachment as the area will now be used and not neglected. 294 - Heating/cooling units and sound system for Virgin Mary Chaldean Church in Mosul
Shlama from Mosul, where we are helping to restore the Virgin Mary Chaldean Church! When ISIS invaded in 2014, all 45 churches in the city were destroyed, some reduced to rubble, others left in need of major rehabilitation. 296 - Expanding a Woman's Bakery Business in Batnaya
We’re celebrating the completion of Athra’s bakery extension in Batnaya! With the support of our friends at the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, Athra was able to expand her business by adding new baking tools, a wider variety of products, drinks, and a welcoming seating area for the community to enjoy.
