Greetings from the homeland where we just completed three robotic engineering workshop for secondary school students! With support from the 2025 Matthews Masterpieces Fundraiser, we were able to provide everything needed for recent Oakland University engineering graduate Ramiz Francis to lead three hands-on workshops designed to inspire the next generation of engineers. The workshops were held in 1. Shuqa Ateeqa Cafe, a community space we rehabilitated last year in Alqosh, 2. The Space in Ankawa, a community center provided by The Return Organization, 3. Mar Qardakh International School in Ankawa. The workshop gave students the opportunity to build, experiment, and develop practical engineering skills while working with others. Thank you to everyone that attended and sponsored the 2025 Matthew's Masterpieces, and Ramiz for his volunteership!
