Shlama from the gorgeous village of Armash where we've completed our second phase of building irrigation canals! With funding from L'Œuvre d'Orient, we were able to build 1,610 meters. Farming is one of the very few ways families generate income in this remote village. With this support, we'll not only help with their livelihoods, but this will also help prevent land encroachment as the area will now be used and not neglected. This is our second phase of this project, as we built an initial 800 meters last year, making it a total of 2,410 meters! A special thank you to Bishop Azad of Duhok diocese for advocating for this project for many years 🙏 Thank you from the homeland! 💙
