296 - Expanding a Woman's Bakery Business in Batnaya

We’re celebrating the completion of Athra’s bakery extension in Batnaya! With the support of our friends at the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, Athra was able to expand her business by adding new baking tools, a wider variety of products, drinks, and a welcoming seating area for the community to enjoy. Balancing her studies at Mosul University, motherhood, caring for her family home, and running her bakery is no simple task, especially in a town that was once 85% destroyed by ISIS. Yet, Athra’s strength and determination continue to shine. We’re honored to stand by her on this journey and grateful to our partners, Iraqi Christian Relief Council, for making it possible!
