153 - Fixing the cemetery destroyed by ISIS in Tel Keppe

After 4 years and 3 months, we have finally restored the cross in Tel Keppe‘s cemetery. This is symbolic as it will raise the moral of the families that are returning to their ancient Nineveh town. The hardest part of today’s project is coming across so many human bones as we clean the cemetery of Tel Keppe. We are working with the church and have agreed to create a special grave for all the random bones that we have found in the rubble. 1- removing rubbish 2- fix the water well, in order to give access to water on the site 3- fix the entry door 4- fix the sidewalk.
