Shlama from Duhok city, where we’re bringing a traditional clothing business back to life! Thanks to our friends at the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, we were able to help Shamiram, a talented tailor who had to close her shop due to rising rent costs. To support her return to work, we built a caravan room at her home, fully furnished and ready for her to continue her craft. After many years in business, she can now provide for her family without the burden of rent, allowing her to focus on preserving our beautiful heritage through traditional clothing. If you’d like to place an order, visit her Facebook page, Khomala Shamiram. Thank you for supporting our people in the homeland!
