We fully rehabilitated the Ankawa Youth and Sports Center! Greetings from Ankawa, where we have been working the past 2 months to fix the Ankawa Youth Center, after years of neglect. This place was home to thousands of displaced people from Nineveh (all the caravans have now been removed) from 2014 to 2017. We've fixed the basketball and volleyball courts, cleaned up and prepared the track, installed new lighting, provided steel benches, and prepared the hall for future self defense course. We hope to see more of the youth leaving their shisha addiction and other bad habits away and start having an active life! By the end of the month, we will be providing equipment to prepare the center for the big reopening day.
