This week in Tesqopa in northern Nineveh, we celebrated our beautiful language - modern Aramaic (“sourath”). Various speeches were delivered stressing the importance of preserving the language through education and the arts, where students demonstrated with songs, poems and a play! All the students did a wonderful job putting the event together. As always, this was all made possible thanks to your donations to Shlama. Thank you!
