Maya Atallah
Content Coordinator
Maya was born and raised in Michigan, with her father originating from Lebanon and her mother from Iraq. Growing up in a close-knit Chaldean community, she developed a profound connection to her cultural identity. Maya pursued her academic interests at Wayne State University, earning degrees in Psychology and Arabic. She went on to achieve a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Michigan University. Driven by a strong desire to give back, Maya expanded her community involvement by volunteering with the Shlama Foundation in 2019 as a Content Coordinator.
