Andrew was born and raised in Michigan and loves his culture. Andrew studied accounting at Michigan State University where he was president of the Chaldean American Student Association. After graduating, he went on to Walsh College to obtain his Masters in Finance and became a CPA. He worked in public accounting and eventually cofounded his CPA practice, DA Advisory Group. His work with Shlama began in 2018 when he saw videos Shlama had posted of trips to villages in Iraq. This drew him to being a part of the group as he wanted to find ways to stay connected with and to help his culture. Andrew focuses on the accounting and tax needs of the group. He loves Michigan sports teams and traveling as often as he can.
